   About this project

This “whodunit” was a collaborative effort between myself, a features editor and a breaking news reporter. In anticipation of the accused being extradited back to Texas to stand trial, we had to work quickly. I was involved with the story planning from the beginning, which made it easier to design and develop. I was also a project manager on this story, helping keep track of documents and other assets.

The design for this interactive was extremely detailed. For example, I was given low resolution screenshots of social media messages which I was ultimately able to recreate in Adobe Illustrator. In doing so, I was able to guarantee readable, high-resolution images on mobile platforms.
