   About this project

I was pulled into an investigation on how many hours K-12 students around the Baltimore metro area are required to take standardized tests because of my training in computer–assisted reporting. I helped the reporter clean the data she collected and crunched the numbers for her to use in the story and the interactive I subsequently helped develop.
